Well Done John Lewis
I heard there was a NEW Christmas 2025 John Lewis ad, but I totally ignored it. Christmas ad's have gone super woke, and as a middle aged, working class, white man, I feel zero connection to any and all of them, or any ad if i'm honest. But then a pal shared it and told me to give it a watch, and i'll be honest, I had tears in my eyes when I saw it. I felt seen... and although that's cliche to say, it's true, I really felt like that ad was for me, so much so I need to buy

NO RULES ART
I came across this on a Nostalgia page on Instagram, it's called 'No Rules Art' and its from the early 90s and i'm fresh to this, i've never seen this images before (I don't think), think they were big in the US as they get referenced with Trapper Keepers, which is super US... but... This art reminded me of the Garbage Pale kids, very similar in the crazy style, and its amazing.... here's some cool ones.

Remember this disappointment?
I came across this flop on a 90s music instagram account, and this fits nicely into my Nostalgia theme for Men Said, This track has a 10 or 20 second section, where it's like a 90s dance vibe, and it was used in a TV ad for Levi Jeans. Now TV ads made tracks in the 90s as there was no internet, no social media, no youtube, TV was king, and Ads were super powerful. Well people loved the Ad and the tune, and we couldnt wait for this to track to drop, and I have a memory of

Liz Hurley is 60... insane.
This wouldn't be a lad's style site and video, if I didn't touch on a hot woman now and again, and for me the best to celebrate are the ones who are hot in their 50's as they will of once been on a wall in my teen bedroom... (i'm sure I had Liz Hurley, deff Gillian Anderson, she will be soon). Liz Hurley has posted some pics earlier this year for a show she does, but I just can't believe how good she looks. Now im sure filters are applied etc, but she is still beautiful, an

Legend or Loser?
When I was a kid Fray Bentos pies was a staple, this is in the 80s and 90s, we started talking about this on Fridays live stream 'Jeezo It's Friday', and I was wondering whether this was the same for everyone?. A Fray Bentos pie is a filling with a crust in a tin, and currently retails around £3 in the UK, I need to get myself one and try this ancient food type from the 80s and 90s... Anyone out there a fan of Fray Bentos? or have any equally 80s or 90s foods that disappeare
