When I was a kid Fray Bentos pies was a staple, this is in the 80s and 90s, we started talking about this on Fridays live stream 'Jeezo It's Friday', and I was wondering whether this was the same for everyone?.
A Fray Bentos pie is a filling with a crust in a tin, and currently retails around £3 in the UK, I need to get myself one and try this ancient food type from the 80s and 90s... Anyone out there a fan of Fray Bentos? or have any equally 80s or 90s foods that disappeared?
This was one of my favourite meals as a kid, so special a treat, I thought it was high end food. Fast forward to around 2018 and I see one in a discount store when for a quid when I visit the UK. I couldn't believe it was the same brand. A quid! That would be about a tenner here. You don't know what you've got till it's gone. This is top notch food
