During my time with MenSaid i've had some highs and lows, through 2023 I could do no wrong. My type of content hit 10ks of people, and my engagement was super high, and then at some point at the end of 2024 it changed, and i dropped to 100 impressions as an average. Now i'm not saying im great, but most of the stuff I do is original, with intent, and purpose, with time committed to it. Yet I would be ratio'd by any average account saying literally 'Blah Blah Blah' . honest I have seen an account get likes and comments way above me for posting that, vs me writing an article on what's going on.. It makes me think about that you need to find your folk, and they aren't necessarily on the platforms, so you need to create your own place, and try to create a community there. I've just been chatting to a woman with 7k followers on X, but is getting 20 impressions per post, its wild. I think there's another era coming, the era of the community, which will be away from the social media companies, and found through AI, or back to Google. Too much of Social media is junk nowadays, I feel a change coming FYI this is not the first time i've said this. What do you think?

Think when we had 3, 4 or 5 channels. 10 to 20 million ratings per programme at peak time viewing. Then came Satellite with 100s of channels. Great at first when it was novel, but then the ability to produce enough content to fill them all and get the ratings was scuppered. Low quality repetitive content, repeated an hour later on the +1 channels. Funded by lots of adverts. Viewer experience was unpleasant. Lots of content producers now, so the audience is spread out.
