Greggs have teamed up with a pub in Newcastle, and going full Greggs menu, with Greggs inspired beers... From what I can see I think this is just gimmick stuff, but it's close enough for me to check out as its in Newcastle.

But imagine... in the UK where 3 pubs a day close, Greggs could reboot the Pub world, and be a kind of Spoons competitor. It's not the same as your local, but it would be good if we got Greggs on the pub map for sure...

This pleases me. I really enjoy going to the Spoons when I come back to the UK, because although its not Michelin Star, its decent belly food and reasonable prices on the food and ale. This is not something you see here and its a particularly British thingwhich warms my heart to see. Greggs expanded during covid when many were going bump. Love this🥰
