Big Heist at The Louvre

This is proper old school, Hollywood movie style heist stuff. Broad Daylight, at 9:30am on a Sunday morning, robbers disguised as construction workers used a crane to enter a 2nd floor window, and took 8 priceless jewels, and have seemingly gotten away with it... for now. There's a manhunt as you can imagine, but wild that this can happen in broad daylight..

Part of me thinks this is antisocial, and wrong, a crime against a country's history and heritage. The other part of me which is becoming increasingly anti establishment, says "fuck em. Fair play to the entrepreneurial bunch who pulled it off". I hope the pieces stay whole for a private collection, rather than melted down for the book price
