This is a weird fungus

This weird and frankly terrible looking thing is a fungus which has been spotted on Dartmoor in the UK. As you can see it has tentacles and looks straight out of a horror movie, it's also meant to stink like rotting flesh, so it's got a lot going for it,

it's name is Devils Fingers, or my favourite nickname it has which is Octopus Stinkhorn. I think Stinkhorn is going to make it into my vocabulary of insults moving forward.
