Football Fannies

I saw a reel about a Newcastle player who got elbowed in the face and in a super rare occasion he didn't fall to the floor, he just went to the Ref and said 'check VAR, this fella just elbowed me'. The ref didn't check VAR, and the pundits were all saying he should of went to ground, and the lad doing the reel was making the point as to WHY... just check VAR and see if he's telling the truth. Now i'm not a big Football fan, I watch some champions leagues games, but that's it, but once upon a time I was a big fan, and the way players dive over every single touch someone gives them has always grated on me, as it's clearly cheating. You are trying to get someone booked, or sent off, and trying to get a penalty or free kick, by throwing yourself on the ground. Nowhere else in the world of Men will you see Men go to ground so easily, no where... not in any other environment will grown Men go to the ground screaming and crying like you see in Football. If things happen on the street it doesn't happen, if someone knocks into you at work it doesn't happen, and in fact you can watch a 25 minute UFC Championship fight, and still not see anyone hit the ground. So the issue is the cheating, so when will Football address it? it honestly spoils the game, and with the tech it would be easy to change, but well done this Newcastle fella trying to change the culture, one foul at a time. Here's some clips of particularly bad examples https://youtu.be/_6fqIaH3s-4?si=Aq-cXEwGi1SFaD1r
